Adjacent to the mountains of Switzerland, Chef Laurent Marchand was born and raised in a small village of “Salins Les Bains” in the “Jura Moutain” where he was first introduced to Classical French cooking by his father Chef Maurice Marchand.

After attending and under the guidance and watchful eye of his Father, Laurent Marchand graduated from the French Culinary school of Gevingey.

Laurent learned some of his craft throughout Europe before making his way to the West Coast of the United States, Los Angeles. He worked several jobs, from night club (Vertigo), restaurant (Drai’s), and personally taking care of some members of the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia.

Laurent then met Colin Cowie, from “Colin Cowie Lifestyle” and helped prepare feasts for some of the most amazing Hollywood elite private party’s. He was then approached by Bruce Willis to help him with his Restaurant “The Mint Bar ” in Idaho.

Laurent went on by to open “Eclipse Catering, Inc” his own catering company and for the last 15 years catered many of Bruce Willis’ movie’s among many others, cooking for some of the most famous actors and actresses in Hollywood.

After re-naming the company to Laurent’s Catering they broadened their horizons and have now set up a division in Georgia where they have already completed many projects in and around the Atlanta area. They are happy to have re-located their business and family to the beautiful Senoia/Atlanta area and are ready to cater your next TV, Movie, Commercial or Party!
